Internal Application Deadline for the 2026 Taiwan-Austria Higher Education Research Seed Funding Scholarship Program: June 18, 2026

This announcement is made in accordance with the Ministry of Education official letter dated May 28, 2026, Ref. No. Tai-Jiao-Ji (4) Zi No. 1152301432.
2. Program Purpose
To strengthen educational exchange between Taiwan and Austria, the Ministry of Education will continue to promote the 2026 Taiwan-Austria Higher Education Research Seed Funding Scholarship Program, encouraging universities in Taiwan to nominate students for overseas study or professional internships in Austria.
3. Eligibility and Project Period
This program is open to universities that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences. The project implementation period will be from the approval date in 2026 to July 31, 2027.
4. Internal Submission Deadline and Procedure
This application will be compiled and submitted to the Ministry of Education by the University. Interested students should prepare the required documents in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s program guidelines and the supporting documents listed in the project application form, and submit them to Ms. Wan-Wen Lin at the Office of International Affairs by Thursday, June 18, 2026, 5:00 PM, for compilation and further submission procedures.
5. Ministry of Education Submission Deadline
The Ministry of Education’s submission deadline is Friday, July 3, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. After the internal submission deadline, the Office of International Affairs will compile the documents and proceed with the official submission procedures accordingly.
6. Attachments
The attachments include the Ministry of Education official letter, program guidelines, and project application form. Interested students are advised to download and refer to the attached documents.
