2026/11/10 Syncell Microscoop System workshop
2026.10.02
Syncell Microscoop System workshop 1. System Overview In October 2026, the Microscopy Center acquired the Syncell Microscoop—the world’s first system capable of precise physical isolation of subcellular proteins. Traditional intracellular proteomics relies heavily on specific antibodies or probes to target known proteins prior to extraction and mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The newly introduced Syncell Microscoop integrates optical microscopy, AI pattern recognition, and photochemistry to target regions of interest (ROIs) directly based on cellular morphological features. By activating target regions with focused lasers, it enables the pull-down and deep proteomic analysis of both known and novel proteins, bypassing traditional antibody limitations while maintaining high sensitivity and specificity. 2. Automated Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Combining AI image recognition with two-photon laser guidance, the system automates ROI-specific protein labeling: AI Identification: Merges AI with microscopy to automatically target micro-scale ROIs (e.g., specific organelles, protein aggregates) within cells or tissues. Precision Labeling: Laser excitation activates photosensitive probes, causing biotin to covalently bond exclusively with proteins inside the illuminated ROI. Sample Extraction: Following cell lysis, streptavidin magnetic beads selectively pull down and isolate the biotin-labeled proteins. Deep Identification: Downstream liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) accurately identifies target and unknown proteins. 3. Applications & Benefits Unbiased spatial proteomics facilitates the discovery of key proteins localized within micro-structures, offering deeper insight into authentic protein function. This significantly enhances drug discovery efficiency and success rates while decoding in vivo biochemical reactions to mitigate drug development risks. All faculty members and students are welcome to attend! For inquiries, please contact Mr. Peng at ext. 5065. Schedule & Venue Educational Seminar Date: Tuesday, November 10, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: Room M0303, 3F, First Medical Sciences Building Speaker: Mr. Chuan-Wei Chang (Syncell Inc.) Hands-On Demo Date: Tuesday, November 10, 2026 Time: Session 1: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Session 2: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM Location: Microscopy Center, Area B, 4F, First Medical Sciences Building Registration & Contact Information Online Registration: Google Registration Form Registration Deadline: Please sign up by Friday, November 6, 2026.
