一、细胞膜蛋白质在肿瘤生成及化疗抗药性的相关研究
细胞的膜蛋白质可引发细胞内的讯息传递,调控细胞的增殖、分化和存活。不正常的膜蛋白质表现和活化常导致各式肿瘤,包括乳癌、卵巢癌、肺癌及头颈癌,并对化学药物治疗的抗药性有相当之关联性。本研究室有兴趣於不同细胞膜蛋白质参与肿瘤生成的分子机制,所研究的膜蛋白质包括上皮细胞因子接受体 (Epidermal growth factor receptor, EGFR),E-钙黏着蛋白质(E-cadherin),ABC转运蛋白(ATP-binding cassette transporter, ABC transporter),由此等基础研究进而发展出新颖奈米药物及相关癌症治疗方法。
二、建立核酸适体的筛选平台
适体 (aptamer) 是可辨识各种不同分子的短鍊核酸,它是项新兴技术有望取代抗体成為检测试剂及药物开发的下一个发展趋势,透过开发前胰岛素原的C-胜肽 (C-peptide) 的檢驗試劑,建立核酸适体的篩選平台,可進一步提供檢驗試劑的客製化開發服務。论文与着作
