| 整体教学目标 | 因应转译医学的概念产生及近年来动物模型在研究人类疾病上的快速进展。此课程目的為提供临床与基础研究的衔接。希望更多非以果蝇发育為主要兴趣的学生,能从此课程了解如何使用果蝇探讨疾病机转,进而增进疾病诊断及治疗的效果。 |
| 教学方法 | The instructor will give an introduction of medical aspects of Developmental Biology at the beginning of the course. Each disease topic will be covered by two successive classes in two weeks. Instructor will give background knowledge of Developmental Biology and Drosophila Genetics related to this specific disease in the first week, and in the second week a selected current research paper focusing on the disease will be discussed in class. Therefore, students are required to finish the paper reading before attending the class. This course aims to help students to understand the strategies used in the animal model for human disease study, and the advantage and disadvantage of this model system. |
| 课程介绍 | 課程開始從醫學角度對發育作簡介.內容包含果蠅遺傳學及果蠅研究的新技術應用.接著以閱讀近期文獻討論方式 深入了解如何使用果蠅探討疾病機轉,包括各類癌症,遺傳性神經疾病,代謝疾病及幹細胞/再生醫學等議題. 此課程目地為訓練學生了解研究主題的產生,研究方法的選擇使用及對發育問題的思考.以期培養學生獨立研究及吸收新知的能力. |
