Papers for discussion will be selected by the Teacher. One student will lead the presentation and discussion of the paper each week. All students are expected to participate in the discussion.

整体教学目标
|
The goals of this course are three-fold: i) To help students to present a scientific study in a clear and direct manner, ii) To have students explore in depth a published scientific study specifically focused on the topic of cell cycle and cell death, and iii) To improve a student's skills in oral presentation, writing and discussion of science in English.

教学方法
|
Discussions are prepared and presented by students. The Teacher will give introductory comments and help during the discussion.

课程介绍
|
此课程有3个目的:第一，帮助学生如何用清楚且直接的方式报告学术文章研究；第二，让学生更深入探讨与细胞週期与凋亡相关的学术文章；最后，加强学生在科学领域的口说、写作以及讨论的英语能力。每篇文章将由老师选择，每週将由1位同学负责带领1篇学术文章的报告以及讨论，而每位学生皆须参与每週的讨论学习。在讨论学习过程中，老师皆会给予当週文章基本概念并帮助学生流畅地进行报告。

弹性学习
|
During the flexible learning period the students can reflect on what they learned about when presenting their own papers along with what they learned from other papers and how this impacts their own research in the laboratory.
