探索核酸或核酸类似物的互动与行為，并将其应用在科学研究与医学检验上。主要的主题包括 (1) 肽核酸抑制PCR的生化条件研究。 (2) 肽核酸在检验微量基因突变的应用。(3) 叁股形成核酸的行為与应用。(4) 核酸适体的开发。
