蛋白质体学研究是指全面性的探讨蛋白质表现程度的学门。在生物医学领域中,通常着重於找出两个样品之间相对差异表现的蛋白。由於分析技术的快速进步,使得蛋白质体分析的覆盖率,已逐渐赶上基因体学研究。其中最主要的两项技术為质谱学及胜肽分离技术。本实验室主要的研究兴趣就是针对这两项技术进行研发及改进,以提升蛋白质体数据的广泛度、灵敏度、可信度及自动化程度。因此本实验室针对以下叁项蛋白体分析技术开发改进的方法:

建立高深度蛋白体及磷酸化蛋白体之分析技术

    建立多种奈升(nano liter)级多维液相分离系统,使一般性的整体蛋白体及磷酸化蛋白体分析深度,达到高於10000个蛋白及30000条磷酸化胜肽。

、建立同步侦测数十个标的蛋白的灵敏技术

    结合化学修饰及层析分离技术,移除不适於定量之胜肽族群,以容许提高样品进样量,搭配多重反应监测质谱技术,同时进行数十个蛋白之定量分析。&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫; 

、建立分析超微量样品的分析技术

    建立超低流速的液相层析系统,提高样品进入质谱仪时之浓度,以提高侦测之灵敏度。此技术将运用於单细胞蛋白体之分析。
