Research Projects Ting-Yu Chiu Project Title: An Adaptive Personal Visual Memory System for Edge Computing: A Fully Offline Framework for Semantic Retrieval and Automated Knowledge Organization Advisor: Prof. Bin-Peng Chen Yi-Hsuan Lee Project Title: Application of Retinal Imaging and Deep Learning for Chronic Kidney Disease Screening Advisor: Prof. Cheng-You Ma These projects demonstrate our students' outstanding research capabilities and innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence, edge computing, medical image analysis, and deep learning. Congratulations to Team WHO補 for winning the Special Excellence Award at the 2026 National Health Technology Innovation and Creativity Competition with their project, “Nursing Record Completion System.” This project was supervised by Assistant Professor Ying-Chia Lin, with team members Chao-Hao Liang, Chi-Wen Su, Wen-Ling Chang, and Hung-Yi Chang. The team applied AI technology to support the completion of nursing records, improving record completeness and clinical workflow efficiency while demonstrating the innovative potential of smart healthcare applications.
