Bioinformatics Workshop (V): Bioinformatics and Single-cell Multi-omics Workshop (Registration Open).

To help faculty members and students at Chang Gung University develop practical skills in bioinformatics and single-cell multi-omics analysis, the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences is organizing “Bioinformatics Workshop (V): Bioinformatics and Single-cell Multi-omics Workshop.” This three-day intensive summer hands-on workshop will be taught in English by Prof. Steven Rozen from Duke University School of Medicine. The course covers R/Python/Bash basics, AI coding agents, R data visualization, Quarto reproducible reports, single-cell RNA-seq, single-cell multi-omics, trajectory analysis, differential expression, cell-type composition analysis, and spatial single-cell analysis.

1. Workshop Title: Bioinformatics and Single-cell Multi-omics Workshop.

2. Date and Time: August 3, 2026 (Monday) to August 5, 2026 (Wednesday), 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00 each day (registration: 08:30-09:00).

3. Venue: Computer Classroom I, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, 4F, Management Building, 91猫先生.

4. Instructor: Prof. Steven Rozen, Duke University School of Medicine.

5. Language: English.

6. Workshop Description: This three-day intensive hands-on workshop includes basic programming environments (R/Python/Bash), AI coding agents, R data visualization, Quarto reproducible reports, single-cell RNA-seq, single-cell multi-omics, trajectory/differential expression/cell-type composition analysis, and spatial single-cell analysis.

7. Target Audience: graduate students of the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences at Chang Gung University, faculty members of 91猫先生, and research personnel.

8. Capacity: 15 participants (small-group hands-on workshop; registration will close once all seats are filled).
