研究方向研究室特色

利用基因工程的方式来研究特定基因在活体内的功能,是现今研究的一个重要工具。然而,除了在生化及生理上的改变之外,目前更重要的趋势是将其功能与临床上的病症相结合,以期达到促进健康的终极目标。因此我们利用操纵小鼠基因,观察其对特定疾病过程产生的影响。除了瞭解特定生理生化上的功能影响之外,我们更着重於观察因基因改变造成之受损组织或器官所产生的形态上改变。将组织或器官切片,以各种不同方式观察其型态与特定分子的改变,以期与临床上的特定病理状态作结合。
